This Infographic talks about Junk mails, their usage, disposal, how they are going to affect our daily life. Junk mail wastes tremendous amounts of paper. It also piles up on your table, wastes your time, and competes for your attention. American mailboxes are inundated with junk mail. More than 100,000,000,000 pieces of junk mail are delivered each year—that’s more than 800 pieces per household. In fact, junk mail in the United States accounts for one-third of all the mail delivered in the world. Even though 44% of that mail goes to the landfill unopened, we still spend 8 months of our lives dealing with it all. The current fact that caught my attention is that , it tells ” By 2010 almost 50 percent of the solid mass that makes up our landfills are going to be paper and paperboard waste”. This is 2010 , isn’t it? So this Infographic has its own relevance. So what are we waiting for? We must save our trees for a better future.
